Can I cancel my e-ticket?’’
We accept cancellations not later than 3 business days before the actual train departure. Later than that train tickets should be cancelled directly at the appropriate train station by the traveler names on the ticket and presenting his/her passport.
Here are 3 simple steps how to submit cancellation request online::
Step 1: Go to your personal account on our website russiantrains.com and in the tab “Orders” choose the order you would like to cancel
Step 2:Submit cancelation request by pressing “Cancel order” button and accepting our terms of service
Step 3:Allow 2 business days to process a refund (notification will be sent to your email)
Is there a cancelation fee?’’
30% fee – if your train tickets have already been issued
10% fee – if your order is still being processed
0% - if you purchased modification insurance ($15 per ticket) we refund 100% of the price ticket
Can I modify my e-ticket?’’
As well as cancellations all modification requests are accepted not later than 3 business days before the train departure. Before modifying your order our train specialists check availability and if possible they modify your order in accordance with your changes. In cases when no tickets are available you will be contacted in a timely manner. Follow the steps below to send the modifications request:
Step 1: Go to your personal account on our website russiantrains.com an in the tab “Orders” choose the order you would like to modify
Step 2: Submit modification request by pressing “Modify order” button, describing the modification details and paying the modification fee
Step 3: Allow 2 business days to process your modification request. If no train tickets available as per your request, our train specialist will contact you in a timely manner
Step 4: Get new tickets and print them out
Is there a modification fee?’’
If you purchased modification insurance with our company, you modify train tickets free of charge but ONLY one time.
Paper tickets can ONLY be canceled by the traveler named on the train ticket. All cancellations should be processed by the traveler at the appropriate train station. Note that cancelations are accepted not later than 1 hour before the train departure. Paper tickets can be modified only if they are returned to our office no less than 10 days before departure.
