Train from St. Petersburg to Tallin Re-launched

Great news for international train commuters! Train connection from St. Petersburg to Tallinn is re-established starting from July 10th, 2015. The train will run from Moscow through St. Petersburg and on to Tallinn and vice versa. There are three types of accommodation on board: Kupe, Plazkart and Common class cars. Train connection between Estonia and Russia was canceled on May 19th, 2015.

Train from St. Petersburg to Tallinn is one of the most popular international routes connecting Europe with Russia. Starting from the end of May, all train connections between Russia and Estonia were cancelled. Luckily, the popular demand led authorities to re-launch trains running on the route from Moscow through St. Petersburg to Tallinn. The train will commute between three cities twice a week. It will depart late in the evening from Baltiyskiy train station in Moscow, stop at Moskovsky station in St. Petersburg (early morning), and finally arrive to Tallinn in the afternoon of the next day. On the reverse route the train will stop at Ladozhsky station in St. Petersburg. All train cars have been renovated and now they will all be air-conditioned. There will also be a separate car for disabled travelers.

There will be three car classes on board: Kupe (separate cabins with 2x2 bed configuration), Plazkart (four beds arranged in a separate compartment without a door), and Common class car.
